JW Marriott Guanacaste is located south of Tamarindo. Our private catamaran or yacht charters depart from Flamingo, about 45 minutes north of JW Marriott.
It is not possible to board at the hotel beach, so guests must drive to Flamingo, or we can add a private shuttle service to and from the hotel.
You can book the half day tour in the morning (4 hours), the 4 hour private tour in the afternoon at sunset (from 2 to 6 pm) or the full day tour of 7 hours.
All tours include an open bar, delicious food, freshly prepared, as well as included activities such as snorkeling, surfing, fishing, swimming in the sea or with some luck, seeing dolphins and sea turtles.
During some months of the year we can even see humpback whales, which come to the coast of Guanacaste.
Half day morning tour
4 hours of private sailing on a yacht or catamaran departing normally at 8:30 am until 12:30 pm.
Sunset tour
The private sunset charter departs at 2 pm and returns after sunset, around 6 pm.
Full day charter
The full day tour includes 7 or 8 hours of sailing, including a full lunch.
